The New Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
The new Machinery directive
2006/42/EC is now in force. Don't Panic.. it doesn't introduce any
major changes
but consolidates the existing version and
clarifies certain borderline issues that have
been causes headaches (and head-scratching) over
the years.
It replaced the previous version 98/37/EC on
29th December 2009,
surprisingly ...there
was no transition
period.
